Succession planning secured at AT+C

Smooth transition with the infrastructure management expert

Nachfolge

Oberursel, December 16, 2020 - With more than 30 years of market presence, AT+C EDV GmbH is one of the most established providers of CAFM software in Germany. Until recently, founder and managing director Wolfgang Schröder was the company's sole shareholder. That has now changed, at the end of 2020 Michael Brüning joined as a co-partner and will also be appointed as an additional managing director from January 1, 2021.

As head of AT+C sales, Michael Brüning has enjoyed great trust among customers and employees for 5 years. During this time, he was not only able to acquire prominent new customers, but also contributed his expertise to the future product direction. His collaboration with managing director Wolfgang Schröder was also very cooperative and trusting. It is therefore only logical that Mr. Brüning is the ideal candidate to succeed him in the company management. Managing director Wolfgang Schröder is thinking about reducing his workload in the medium term. However, he doesn't want to completely withdraw from day-to-day business in the foreseeable future; he enjoys working in the AT+C team far too much.

“It is a stroke of luck to have found a successor in Michael Brüning who not only knows our business and the company in all its facets, but with whom I am also on the same wavelength strategically,” says Mr. Schröder about the latest developments. “Following in his footsteps won’t be easy,” answers Mr. Brüning when asked how he feels about taking this step. "I've seen a few other software companies inside and out, but none that have achieved such a global market presence and customer satisfaction with such a lean team. Nevertheless, no, precisely because of that, I'm happy to take on this challenge."

For customers, employees and business partners, this successful succession plan means an optimal mix of security, continuity and a clear future orientation.

About the company:
With more than 30 years of experience, AT+C is one of the pioneers in the CAFM and DCIM development sector. Numerous successful product developments and installations at home and abroad as well as satisfied customers from well-known companies confirm the company's success.
